Renfrewshire Leisure recently opened a state of the art sport and leisure facility in March 2013. It was decided that Anytime Leisure would be the main supplier for fitness equipment in this newly built facility called the ON-X Sport and Community Centre in Linwood.

The Objective

The motivation for Renfrewshire Leisure’s project was to create a first class fitness offering for members by using the best equipment on the market. The facility was to encompass a group cycling studio, functional, cardio and free weights areas.

There was a long standing relationship between Anytime Leisure and Renfrewshire Leisure one which has seen the organisations work in partnership across projects in several facilities such as the Lagoon in Paisley and Renfrew Leisure Centre.

Gym Design and Planning

The designs submitted by Anytime Leisure featured equipment from a range of the industry's best cardiovascular, functional training and free weights brands including Star Trac, Cybex, Spinning, Impulse and Jordan. The design and consultation process was supported by comprehensive 3D visuals of what different layouts, designs and equipment options would look like. The actual installation took just three days, during which all of the old equipment was removed, the fitness suite redesigned and the new equipment installed.

When required, reaction to breakdowns and servicing by Anytime is always efficient and effective. To date they have always achieved their KPIs, with an engineer on site within 24 hours and a first fix rate of 98%.
