Origin Fitness Extends Partnership with SPORTA Scotland

Origin Fitness is pleased to have recently extended its partnership with SPORTA Scotland, the national association of leisure & cultural trusts, which was established in 2006 to represent trusts and social enterprises within the culture and leisure industry at a national level.

Commenting on the partnership, Jonny Curley, Director at Origin Fitness said

“We already successfully work with numerous Trust operators across the United Kingdom to keep their facilities at the forefront of our industry, and recognised the same objectives in SPORTA. We look forward to continuously raising awareness of trusts together as an ideal way of delivering community culture and leisure services throughout UK, and are excited to be sponsoring the Impact of New Facility Award at the upcoming SPORTA awards. We feel this befittingly showcases the high quality social infrastructure that trusts operate and own."

Origin Fitness is proud to provide fitness equipment to Trusts such as West Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire, Barnsley Premier Leisure, Salford Community Leisure, Bury MBC, Sefton, Manchester City Council, Northampton Leisure Trust, West Suffolk Leisure Trust and South Staffordshire Council, amongst others. The team would also like to wish all nominees the best of luck at the awards.

Andrew Woodcock, Projects Officer at SPORTA said

"As the national members association of not for profit bodies in leisure and culture, Sporta strives to represent and support charitable trusts providing accessible and affordable services for all. The 2017 awards scheme again provides the chance to bring such organisations together and celebrate the significant contribution being made to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the UK."

"Operating and maintaining high quality and up-to-date facilities is fundamental for Sporta member trusts' to maintain their position as part of the social infrastructure in the communities they serve. The work of Origin Fitness underpins this ethos, and therefore makes them a fitting and valued partner for the 'Impact of New Facility' award at this year's ceremony."

The SPORTA Awards 2017 take place on 17th May 7pm at Sheffield City Hall. You can find out more about Sporta here.
