Please note that all products on the main Origin Fitness website may be designed for commercial use and carry a commercial use warranty only, unless stated otherwise. Equipment purchased from our website and used in a domestic environment will render the warranty null and void unless the equipment description states it is suitable for home use.
If you are planning to purchase equipment for home use, or have any questions regarding the warranty for home equipment, please contact our Sales Department on firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to advise you on the suitable equipment.
All products listed on our site are priced inclusive of VAT, excluding delivery and installation.
Items purchased from our mail order returns/ex-display models section of our website may be partially or fully boxed/assembled and may have some sort of cosmetic damage. All goods will have been tested and will be in full working order and covered by a 6 month warranty.
We take your security very seriously at Origin Fitness. That's why transactions you make over our website are instantly encrypted and completely safe, and all your credit card details are securely passed to our provider, SagePay, for approval, so we not only do not see your credit card details, they're also not stored in any of our databases.
How do you know that Origin Fitness is a 'Secure Site'? Look at the bottom right-hand side of your computer screen when you are making a purchase, you'll see a small yellow padlock in a small box, this tells you that this site is secure. When you see the padlock symbol, double-click it to view the full validity of the Secure Certificate.
All new equipment sold by Origin Fitness (with the exception of all spin bikes which include parts only warranty) is covered by a minimum one year parts and labour cover. In many cases the warranty is greater than this. The warranty on equipment we sell varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. It can include a full on site repair facility or a 'back to base' warranty. In some cases, where there is a minor fault, the manufacturer will send a part by mail for the customer to fit. If an item develops a fault, please e-mail email@example.com stating the equipment you have, (brand and model number), serial number and a brief description of the fault.
Origin Fitness will either arrange to send a part for the customer to fit, send an engineer to site, or in some instances, depending on manufacturer, ask that the goods be returned to our warehouse. Goods must be well packaged prior to collection. No goods will be accepted into our warehouse without prior authorisation from us. Origin Fitness will then repair or replace the equipment with an equivalent or better model and deliver the goods back to the customer at our expense.
Warranties only apply to goods within mainland UK.
All prices quoted are correct at time of going to press, due to circumstances beyond our control these may change, including rate of Value Added Tax and user error.
Incorrect/Faulty goods must be returned to us before replacements will be dispatched.
We strive to keep the majority of the products listed on our website in stock at all times. Occasionally some items are out of stock. If you order an item that is out of stock, we will contact you within 48 hours (2 working days) and advise you when the item is due back in or of any comparable product that is available.
Refunds will be made in the original payment method and within 14 days of our receipt of goods. All refunds must be authorised by our staff.
If goods have been dispatched, you have the right to return goods within 30 days of receipt of your goods. The cost of postage, packaging and insurance to return the goods will be borne by the customer and goods must be received by us in perfect condition and in their original packaging. The cost of delivering the goods will be deducted from any refund. There may be a re-stocking charge. If goods are not received back in perfect condition and in their original packaging, Origin Fitness reserve the right not to accept the goods at our warehouse and/or not to issue a refund or credit. Any costs to redeliver the goods will be payable in advance by the customer. If the goods have been removed from their original packaging or assembled, your right to cancel may be forfeited.

Marketing and business development purposes
Apart from using your personal information to process any orders you may place, if you provide Origin Fitness with an email address, it will automatically be entered into our regular email update service. From time to time, we may also contact you by post with information on special offers or events regarding our products or services or those of trusted third parties that we think you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive updates or marketing information, please amend your mailing preferences on the My Account page.
If you do not object to receiving marketing material at the time the information was collected from you, but subsequently change your mind and no longer wish to receive such information, you may opt out of doing so.
In addition, we may use an IP address to identify you and to gather broad demographic information about you, which we will use to assist in the detection of fraud, to help identify problems with our server and to administer our website.
Origin Fitness will not sell your personal information to third parties. However, on occasions we do share customer information with third parties as described below.

If you expressly tell us that you want to receive such information, we will pass on your personal details.
Origin Fitness collates statistics about site traffic, sales and other commercial information, which we pass on to trusted third parties to assist us in improving the services we provide to you, but this information is not personally identifiable information. We also use demographic information to tailor the website to the interests of our customers, which we share with third parties, again on an aggregate basis only so that they can build up a better picture of our customer base and general consumer trends.
By making a purchase on the website, you consent to Origin Fitness sharing your personal information with third parties as is necessary to process your order, for example, to banks, credit card companies and carriers. You also consent to us exchanging information with other companies in the interests of fraud detection and prevention and credit risk reduction or abuses of our website. Origin Fitness may also pass your personal information to our couriers or other agents if they need to contact you to process or arrange delivery of your order.
Origin Fitness may disclose your personal information if necessary to comply with regulations or law or to assist with law enforcement, to enforce the terms under which you trade with Origin Fitness, or to protect our property and other rights.
What Security Checks do we carry out?
As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we carry out random security checks on orders. These can take various forms, and may involve contacting you by telephone before your order is processed. From time to time it may be necessary for us to ask you to provide a copy of a recent statement header for the card being used on your order. Please note that we are only interested in confirming information already provided on your order, i.e. the billing name and address and card issuer details, and do not need to see actual transactions, which can be covered up. In case you have any concerns regarding security, we can assure you that all information is shredded as soon as we have confirmed the details required. We hope you appreciate that these measures are a necessary precaution, undertaken in the interests of fraud prevention.
Origin Fitness has noticed an increase in the use of personal firewall software (e.g. Zone Alarm, PTF). Under certain circumstances these firewalls may deny access to our (and other websites') secure servers. To enable access to secure servers, check that the firewall is configured to allow the web browser to connect over port 443 (SSL). We are also aware of instances whereby stopping and restarting the firewall may resolve connectivity problems.
Security on the website
Origin Fitness adopts industry standard practices to protect the confidentiality of your personal information on the website and during transmission, including firewalls and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption software.
Is your Internet connection secure?
Your payment and order details are normally sent to us across a secure connection that uses a 128-bit SSL certificate. This means that the information is encrypted and cannot be read by anyone other than Origin Fitness and persons authorised by us. You can see that the web pages are secure because the address in the address bar changes from http:// to https://. You will also see a padlock symbol or key in the top or bottom bar of your browser. However, some computers prevent this secure connection and in order to proceed with an order, Origin Fitness must provide a less secure connection to customers who encounter this problem. If required, you can use our standard server to place an order. Although this will resolve the problem, you should be aware that your personal information would be passed to us without being encrypted.
Unfortunately, Origin Fitness cannot accept liability for any losses caused to you as a result of using a non-secure connection. Similarly, although the secure encryption we use is internationally regarded as secure, Origin Fitness cannot accept liability should such encryption be broken. Please take the utmost care whenever you visit our website or any other e-commerce site and in particular, make sure that nobody is able to obtain your password (if you use one). Once you have completed your purchase, and to ensure all confidential information is removed, we recommend that you close all browsers.
Credit Card Information.
Origin Fitness do not store any of your credit card details on any computers after your transaction has been made, neither do we store any paper work with your payment details. we will store the date, payee and amount paid in a transaction but will never store any other information with regards to said transaction.
